I pray you are resting in peace.
I’ve been holed up and working mostly on music, an album I am calmly and cooly very excited about. I haven’t been writing terribly much, but I will share with you a few recent things and promise to pick up the proverbial pen now that the winter mist is clearing. First, here is a letter I wrote a week or so ago when some subtle shift happened and I, for the first time probably, reached a moment where I felt comfortable…or at least accepted the discomfort, of calling myself a Christian.
Lately I have been feeling more drawn to poetry than prose, it’s hard to shake the sense of taking myself too seriously writing letters to G*d….I pray that they are interpreted sincerely. Here’s something a touch lighter:
